During his time there, he was also a member of the McMaster Varsity Track Team, Varsity Men's Rugby Team (2010 Ontario Champions) and the Varsity Football Team (2011  National Champions and 2012 Ontario Champions). Inspired by his athletic history, Matt’s rehab approach is exercise and movement based, while integrating manual therapy techniques to achieve patient’s goals.

He has used this approach successfully with a wide range of patients, including individuals at the international, professional, NCAA, and USPORT levels, along with weekend warriors and recreational athletes. He has a particular interest in speed and agility mechanics, field sports, and strength and conditioning.

Heather Aucoin

Heather's own sports rehabilitation journey sparked her desire to encourage others' well-being in the health industry. Previous to being an RMT, she helped clients through personal training and nutrition coaching.

Heather is an honours graduate of the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. During her case study, she spent time introducing positive touch to women on the downtown eastside managing PTSD, trauma, and drug addiction. She quickly learned the importance of the nervous system and the integral role it plays in the recovery of all injuries and everyday function.

Heather strives to provide a supportive and empowering environment for all her clients. Whether your goal is to reduce your day-to-day pain or optimize your performance in your sport, she would like to work with you to help you achieve your goals, creating individualized plans using modalities such as Swedish massage techniques, deep tissue, myofascial and trigger point release, PNF stretching, and joint mobilization.

Behind the scenes, Heather spends her time as a performer and competitor as an elite Highland dancer. You can also catch her out in the community with her volunteer therapy dog, Zelda.
