KAREN OLYNYK
Massage therapy first entered Karen’s life through her passion and love of running. She became increasingly fascinated with the complex workings of the human body, growing a keen interest in why we experience common injuries, aches and pains, and how to prevent them from happening in the first place.
Throughout the last 7 years, rock climbing has now made its way to the forefront of her free time!
She believes Massage Therapy can be an extremely effective tool in reducing tension and pain, as well as restoring and maintaining optimal health so you can continue doing whatever it is you love to do.
She strives to discover the root of the problem and create an individualized treatment plan to best suit your current condition and needs. She also believes in educating clients with postural awareness, proper work place biomechanics, stretching and/or strengthening exercises to enhance your daily living.
Commonly used modalities include deep tissue and myofascial release, joint mobilizations and muscle energy techniques.
To have established a career working with her hands and providing health care in the most natural state is something she finds extremely fulfilling and so grateful to have found.
